Product Review: Felicia Leatherwood Detangling Brush

I was finally able to use the Felicia Leatherwood detangling brush on Tiffany's hair. I ordered it in April, but her hair was in mini twists for 4 weeks. Needless to say it was fairly tangled after that lengthy protective style.

I followed our normal detangling routine. After shampooing, I lathered her hair with our favorite conditioner, Trader Joe's Tee Tree Tingle. Then I placed her hair into sections. With each section I used the brush, gently on the ends, working my way up the hair.

I have to say that Tiffany and I shed fewer tears. The Felicia Leatherwood detangling brush did make it much easier to detangle her hair. There was minimal shedding and no breakage. It took about 35 minutes to complete her entire head, but she has a LOT of hair. I also kept the sections relatively small.

Overall I would recommend this brush for type 4 natural hair. It worked wonderfully on my daughter's kinkiest section which is 4b.  You can order here: Felicia Leatherwood Detangling Brush
